Part of the Explorer range, The Kalahari is an essential outdoors hat. Big brim for maximum sun protection, rain resistant lightweight cotton canvas with a chinstrap for those windier days.
I really like the look of the olive canvas hat. It fits well, and looks great.
It could do with some better lining around the forehead though, as sweat shows quickly, and a few more ventilation holes would perhaps keep your head cooler.
The material gets a bit floppy after the first wash, and I ended up waxing my hat for waterproofing and stiffening. Overall I am quite satisfied, this being my second purchase of the same hat.

Wrong Colour - Twice
Ordered the Sand - got the Olive. Sent it back and asked for the Sand. They sent another Olive. Order was for an Australian trip so could not send it back again. Won't rush to shop here - only saving grace was Ayanda who provided amazing customer service.
